GEOLOGISTS' EXAMINATION, 2011
The Union Public Service commission will hold the Geologists' Exam 2010 commencing from 3rd December, 2011 for recruitment to following posts Geologist in various departments of Government of India. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.
Geologist Group A: 300 posts in Geological Survey of India
Jr. Hydrologists (Scientist B) Group A: 07 posts in Central Ground Water Board
Assistant Hydrologists Group B: 30 posts in Central Ground Water Board
Apply Online at UPSC website from 20/08/2011 to 19/09/2011.
Offline applications can also be filled in the Common Application Form devised by the commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 30/-, which must reach the "Secretary, Union Public Service commission, Dholpur house, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi - 110069" either by hand or by Post/Speed Post only or by Courier, on or before 26/09/2011.
